Testing the GoFreshBaby reusable food pouch with the boys…
We wanted to share some shots we took a few months back while testing the initial prototypes for our reusable baby food pouch. These prototypes worked like a charm even without the pouch printing labels. Our little focus group decided on a puree of sweet potato, nectarines, apples and carrots that they got from the local farmer’s market with their Papa. We made a large batch so that we could freeze some in the reusable pouches for later.
Reese (3 years) helped prepare the mixture like a good big brother. He was really just trying to be the first in line to get Mama’s delicious sweet potato, carrot, apple, nectarine puree. He was really excited about the fact that he could make his own puree mix and enjoy it out of the reusable food pouch on his own. He suggested that we freeze a few and take them with us on our next trip to the park. Great idea!
Filling the reusable food pouch was a breeze. We simply spooned it into the large zip lock opening and sealed it shut. The newer versions are even easier to access thanks to the expanded size and capacity.
Henry loved the easy to squeeze pouch and top spout design. Easy to hold and easy to use! It was also great to know how much food he was getting in each serving.
Reese wasn’t about to be left out of the fun after all that work. His suggestion was to add a bit more nectarine next time, note taken!
We learned a lot from this older prototype and had a lot of fun in the process. Getting our little ones involved was an enjoyable experience and helped us further refine the GoFreshBaby reusable food pouch. We’re excited to share the new food pouch design with you in the coming weeks.
